In-House Courses

Our in-house courses are designed for organisations who need to raise the contractual awareness of their staff and project teams. We offer two main in-house training options:

  • Option 1“Off the shelf” – These courses are designed to bring project teams and office staff up to speed on a specific standard form of contract (e.g. NEC, JCT, FIDIC, RIAI or Public Works).
  • Option 2“Project specific” – These courses incorporate project specific contract amendments and other documents to train project teams on the actual contract they are (or will be) using. As an optional extra, we can also draft template notifications etc. as part of these courses and incorporate them within our training materials

Our in-house courses are charged per session, not per person – meaning organisations can have large numbers of staff trained at no extra cost.

Read our testimonials on some of our recent in-house courses:

The NEC training provided by William Brown was excellent and very pragmatic. William’s ability to relate the subject matter to real world scenarios brings and added dimension to what might otherwise be tough reading.

International Civil Engineering Contractor
Director

We have been employing the services of William Brown for a number of years with successful outcomes and decisions in both mediation and adjudication. Without a doubt the efforts; professionalism; NEC experience; thought processes and case law evidence which William brought to our cases was the fundamental reason decisions were awarded in our favour.

National Housebuilder
Director

I was extremely glad that we engaged with William to undertake a contract review. We were trying to meet ridiculously tight timescales, which did not phase William in the slightest. Despite the limited time, the information was presented concisely, thoroughly and in a far better format than other professional organisations with double the timescales. I would highly recommend both the professionalism of William and that of his team.

Specialist M&E Subcontractor
Contacts Manager
William represented us in a successful procurement challenge against a large public sector organisation. William has a tremendous grasp of both the law and the technical details required to win a case. We were extremely please with the result and the level of service provided by William and his team.
