Public Works Contract
The Public Works suite of contracts is exclusively used for publicly funded projects in Ireland. A copy of these contracts is freely available for download on the Capital Works Manager Framework website. We have extensive experience in advising both client organisations and contractors in the correct administration of Public Works Contracts.

We are available to provide training on all of the standard contracts within the PWC suite, including:

- PW-CF2 – civil engineering works designed by the Employer
- PW-CF3 – building works designed by the Contractor
- PW-CF4 – civil engineering works designed by the Contractor
- PW-CF5 – minor works
- PW-CF6 – short contract
- COE1 – standard conditions of engagement for consultancy services
- CIF Sub-Contracts for use with Public Works Contracts
Delivery Methods
We offer two different types of contract training – “off the shelf” and “bespoke”.
- Our “off the shelf” training is designed to bring project teams and office staff up to speed on a specific form of contract in its unamended form.
- Our “bespoke” training incorporates project specific contract amendments and other documents into our training materials to bring project teams up to speed on the actual contract they are (or will be) using. As an optional extra, we can also draft template notifications etc. as part of these courses and incorporate them within our training materials
Our training courses vary in duration depending on client requirements. We can deliver anything from a one-hour refresher session, to multiple full-days spread over several months.
We can deliver our training courses online, or in person depending on client preference. We record our online training sessions and provide a link afterwards.
