FIDIC Training
FIDIC contracts are standard forms of contract used primarily on large civil engineering projects. FIDIC contracts are widely used across the globe, particularly on international projects.
Each FIDIC contract defines the contractual relationship between the parties and apportions risk between the Contractor and the Employer. There are a wide range of contracts available within the suite; everything from dredging contracts, through to EPC contracts.
FIDIC Courses that we Deliver
We are available to provide training on all of the standard contracts within the FIDIC suite, including:
- Red book – for building and engineering works designed by the Employer
- Yellow book – for plant & design-build
- Silver book – for EPC / turnkey projects
- Gold book – for design, build and operate projects
- Blue book – for dredging and reclamation works
- White book – client/consultant model services agreement
Delivery Methods
We offer two different types of contract training – “off the shelf” and “bespoke”.
- Our “off the shelf” training is designed to bring project teams and office staff up to speed on a specific form of contract in its unamended form.
- Our “bespoke” training incorporates project specific contract amendments and other documents into our training materials to bring project teams up to speed on the actual contract they are (or will be) using. As an optional extra, we can also draft template notifications etc. as part of these courses and incorporate them within our training materials
Our training courses vary in duration depending on client requirements. We can deliver anything from a one-hour refresher session, to multiple full-days spread over several months.
We can deliver our training courses online, or in person depending on client preference. We record our online training sessions and provide a link afterwards.
